2024 GEORGE HOY NOMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please consider submitting a nomination for Adventures in Northeast Ohio’s George Hoy Excellence in Tourism Award. Any member can nominate a person, group, or company. Nominations are due by April 3rd. We plan to announce the winner of the 2024 George Hoy Excellence in Tourism Award at our May 7th meeting.
Nominees should be individuals, groups, or companies that have a proven track record of promoting tourism in Northeast Ohio, going above and beyond their daily job or duties. The nominee should be someone who puts others first and makes Adventures in Northeast Ohio and Northeast Ohio tourism a priority.
The nominee should be a mentor and role model in their daily work and through their actions. Adventures membership is not a requirement for this award.
The nomination process is as follows:
- · Fill out and sign a nomination form (attached).
- · At least one letter of support must be submitted with the nomination form.
- · Current Board members are not eligible to receive the Excellence Award.
